Policies

PerreLink Web Solutions has implemented some basic policies designed to make the process of creating your web site as smooth and efficient as possible.

Contract

PerreLink Web Solutions requires a signed contract be executed prior to the commencement of work. This ensures that all parties are aware of all aspects of the website design process and the site specifications as outlined in the contract.

Quotations

Quotations/Estimates will be valid for 30 days after initial quotation is supplied.

Deposit

We require that a 50% deposit be paid when the contract is signed and prior to the commencement of web design.

Content

We require that all content to be included in the website, including graphics and text, be supplied to us before we begin the design process. This ensures that there are no delays in the completion of your project and that it can proceed according to the agreed upon schedule.

If content is not available at the time of the contract exchange, we expect the content to be delivered within 10 working days, otherwise the project will be placed into the queue of projects currently worked on by PerreLink Web Solutions. Once again, this may cause delays in completing the project in a timely manner. Content includes text, photos, brochures, etc. Written content should be submitted as .doc / .txt files and can be either emailed or supplied on CD.

Point of contact

You will be asked to appoint one contact person from your company to be responsible for all communication regarding the website. Too many contacts will delay the completion of the project. The contact person will be responsible for signing off on all stages of the project.

Cross-browser compatibility

PerreLink Web Solutions make every effort to build websites that are compatible with the most popular web browsers for the PC and Mac, including Internet Explorer 6, Firefox, Netscape 6+ and Safari. However we cannot guarantee that your website will look exactly the same in all browsers due to browser and platform inconsistencies.

Upgrades and updates to the original website specification

Any additional work requested to be added to your website after the initial quotation has been accepted, including extra pages, additional text, additional photos, and additional features, will incur additional costs. A separate quotation will be issued to inform you of the costs prior to work commencing on these additions.

Final Payment

Final payment is due prior to the website being uploaded to the clients' web server.
