A domain name consists of two parts. Your company or desired name and the country of origin.
eg. acame.com.au
Acame is the company name. The com.au indicates it would be an Australian Business.
All the various domain name ending are designed to reflect the type of organisation you would like to represent, apart from the way they look, they work exactly the same.
